Dr. Marie Hargrove

Dr. Marie Hargrove is a Technical expert within the Human Safety group at Syngenta Crop Protection located in Greensboro, North Carolina (US). A graduate of the Pharmacology and Toxicology program at East Carolina University, Dr. Hargrove completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the EPA National Health and Environmental Effects Research Laboratory within the Environmental Public Health Division just prior to her current role at Syngenta. She has directed and managed numerous in vivo toxicological studies which characterized respiratory and systemic effects of known criteria air pollutants in models representative of susceptible populations. As an expert in regulatory toxicology, she currently focuses on managing studies in systemic toxicology and endocrine disruption, which ultimately supports registrations of plant protection products via human health risk assessment.
