Maria Alejandra Castilla-Bolanos is a Biomedical Engineer (Universidad de los Andes, Colombia) and Master in Biological Sciences with specialization in Neurophysiology (University of Regina, SK, Canada), Senior Editor in Health Science Inquiry Journal, lecturer and scientist in Alzheimer's disease (TEDx talk), biomaterials and tissue engineering researcher, with experience in academia as a researcher and laboratory instructor in neurosciences and biosciences, and in regulatory affairs for medical device approval. MAC is a developer of biomedical devices and application software, and she is the leader of Linkiu: the application that aims to be the technological strategy to connect medical personnel with medical supply providers.
