Mandy Tzu-Yi Tai

Postdoctoral Researcher

Tzu-Yi (Mandy) Tai was born in Taiwan. She is currently working as a Post-doc Researcher in Professor Farha's Research Group at Northwestern University. She received her B.S. degree in Biological Science & Technology from Taiwan's National Chiao Tung University. She obtained her M.S. degree and Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from National Taiwan University. Her Ph.D. advisor was Prof. Sheng-Hsien Chiu who is a former student of Professor Fraser Stoddart. Before joining the Farha Research Group at Northwestern, she worked as a Senior Researcher at Daxin Materials Corporation responsible for the development of functional materials such as semiconductor materials and key raw materials. Her current research interest focuses on protein encapsulation and investigating the energetics (thermodynamics) of interactions between proteins and MOFs.
