Dr. Mahmut ERSAN

Dr. Mahmut Selim Ersan is an Assistant Research Professor at the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment at Arizona State University. Dr. Ersan has 15 years of experience in controlling the formation and toxicity of emerging contaminants (i.e. Disinfection by-products, Synthetic organic compounds, Poly- and Perfluorinated Alkyl Substances) in water, wastewater, and water reuse applications. His recent research interests focus on advancing clean water technologies.
