Liang Wang is senior scientist of the Material Research Department at Toyota Research Institute of North America (TRINA) based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In his current position, he is responsible for leading the research on novel catalyst, membrane and ionomer materials for low temperature and high temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) in TRINA. Before joining Toyota, Wang worked as associate scientist on PEMFCs in University of Delaware. Wang earned a PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Wang has authored and coauthored more than 30 papers and publications related to PEMFC materials research. He is listed as an inventor on 13 PEMFC related patents and patent applications and co-author of the several book chapters on PEMFCs
