Leah Roe is an NSF graduate research fellow at the University of California, Berkeley in the Schepartz research group. She received a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley in 2019 while working in the Zuckermann research group on biomimetic nanostructures. Her research in the Schepartz group now centers on editing protein backbones as part of the Center for Genetically Encoded Materials (C-GEM), an NSF-funded Center for Chemical Innovation.
