He has 20 years of industrial experience with The Dow Chemical Company (Research Scientist, Laboratory Director), Rohm & Haas (Business Development, Research Director), BASF (VP - R&D), and Celanese (VP - Research). Also, he was President/Founder of Vista Business Systems (Personal Computers) and President/ Founder of The Venture Group, Ltd.
He is Dean Emeritus & Professor of Chemistry from the College of Science & Mathematics, Kennesaw State University where he was Dean for thirteen years. Previously, he was Department Head of Chemistry & Biochemistry at South Dakota State University. He was PI for a $1 million National Science Foundation ITEST grant to introduce under-represented HS students to careers in the computing sciences and PI/co-author of ChemCases.com, a website to teach General Chemistry using case study methodology funded by a $300,000 NSF grant.
