Chemistry education research (CER) offers a framework designed to inform and improve the teaching and learning of chemistry at all levels, including high school and undergraduate levels. As practitioners, our interaction with chemical education research is a necessary component towards supporting our students' successful progression along their academic pathways. Therefore, the goal of this symposium is to provide a forum for instructors to learn and adapt innovative strategies for use in their own classrooms. To this end, we seek a wide range of submissions that incorporate evidence-based practices, assessment strategies, or technologies that are increasingly relevant today. Although not limited, presentations may describe how the results of a chemical education research project have informed their instructional practices in the lecture or laboratory settings, challenges in implementing a research-based strategy or curriculum, and/or collaborations between researchers and instructors. This symposium is sponsored by the DivChed Chemistry Education Research Committee.
