Kellon is an NIH NRSA and ACM-SIGHPC fellow in Dr. Carlos Simmerling lab at the Laufer Center for Physical and Quantitative Biology at Stony Brook University. His dissertation research involves studying protein dynamics and force field parameterization of small molecules that can be used as probes to study protein dynamics. Kellon's ultimate professional goal is to become a research scientist at a company that uses computational techniques to study protein dynamics of difficult drug targets to make effective drugs. Outside of the lab, Kellon spends his free time playing basketball, capoeira, and swimming.
