Student, Saint Joseph's University

My name is Kayla Flanders and I am a sophomore undergraduate Chemical Biology major at Saint Joseph's University. I have presented my work entitled ""Entropy and enthalpy of hemoglobin-fluoride complex redox reactions (Fe3+
/Fe2+) at pH 5 reveal significant heme-pocket structural changes with temperature" at the ACS Rocky Mountain Regional Meeting 2020, earning a Flash Presentation award. I am very excited to be presented my most current research on "Hemoglobin and myoglobin stabilization by heme-fluoride complexes" at this conference. I am a native of New Jersey and one of my hobbies is playing soccer for the SJU Division 1 Women's Soccer Team.
