Kanthasamy Karunanandaa
Quality Assurance Specialist, Bayer Crop Science
Kanthasamy Karunanandaa (aka Karu), Ph.D., RQAP-GLP. Karu has been with the industry for the last 23 years. Started his career as a postdoctoral fellow with Monsanto company (now Bayer Crop Science), spent majority of his time working on genetically engineered crops. Currently, Karu is a Quality Assurance Specialist in the Regulatory Organization within Bayer Crop Science. Karu has extensive working experience with US EPA GLP (FIFRA 40 CFR Part 160), OECD GLP and QMS/ISO quality systems. Karu obtained his Ph.D. from Penn State University, and he has broad educational background including plant science, animal science, molecular biology, and protein biochemistry.
