Prof. Kangwoo Cho

Kangwoo Cho is associate professor in Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH). Kangwoo Cho received his B.A. in Economics and B.S./M.S. in Civil, Urban, and Geosystem Engineering from Seoul National University in South Korea. He has served as a full time research scientist at Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) from 2006. During 2010-2014, he finished Ph.D degree requirements (formal award of diploma in 2015) at California Institute of Technology (CalTech) under the supervision of Prof. Michael R. Hoffmann. Dr. Cho's research interests nowadays span broadly in advanced oxidation processes based on (photo) electrochemistry, electrochemical intensification of physical/biological water treatment practices, and synthesis of electrodes and other catalysis materials for environmental application.
