Dr. Joshua Gaffen

I am Josh Gaffen, I am a synthetic main group chemist.  I received my Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University working with John Protasiewicz.  After a short hiatus due to the pandemic, I am back to working with Thomas Baumgartner and Chris Caputo at York University on our Fluorescent Lewis Adduct (FLA) method for measuring Lewis acidity.  I hope to demonstrate how powerful the method can be as I intend to use it as a tool for my own independent work.  Feel free to ask me about the project or anything else via e-mail or @JoshGaffen on twitter.
