Jon-Michael T. Beasley
Graduate Research Assistant
- Jon-Michael Beasley is a graduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the Chemical Biology and Medicinal Chemistry (CBMC) division of the Eshelman School of Pharmacy. He works in the UNC Molecular Modeling Lab under the guidance of Dr. Alexander Tropsha. His research focuses on the use of highly connected, diverse, and biochemical and biomedical data integrated in knowledge graphs to develop mechanistic models and generate testable hypotheses for the toxic or therapeutic actions of drugs or other bioactive molecules. Other research efforts include data-driven target discovery by systems pharmacology analyses of proteomics, RNAseq, and CRISPR genetic knockout data.
