Jo-Chi Yu

I have a multicultural background and a wide range of experiences in academia research with over 11 years of design and synthesize small organic and organometallic molecules. Therefore, I am familiar with a life in lab and good with working as a team player.

I am now a fourth-year graduate student in University of Florida, pursuing Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry. My research mainly focused on synthesizing organometallic complexes as FEBID and FIBID precursors. Holding my own project, I investigate and solving synthetic problems with critical thinking daily. As a graduate student, training and working with multiple younger graduate students, I learn how to multitask and manage my time judiciously.

I enjoy my time working with scientists, and I am happy to attend ACS spring 2021!
