Dr. Jingwei Cai

I am a scientist in Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics department(DMPK) at Genentech.  I have 8 years of experience in the field of gut microbiome and metabolomics, 10 year of extensive experience in molecular and environmental toxicology, Extensive experience in experiment design, sample preparation and extraction, metabolites detection, identification and quantitation and large data sets analysis from various biological samples including cells, biofluids, tissues and organs using and mass spectrometry and NMR spectroscopy techniques. I expertise in quantitative method development for targeted metabolites and global profiling utilizing analytical metabolomics tools. I am a good project leader and team player who has aptitude for designing and conducting interdisciplinary projects. Currently I am working on the in vitro assay and IVIVC for better PK prediction
