Jessica Steigerwald

I am a fourth year PhD student working with Prof. Jessica Ray at the University of Washington. My current work focuses on development and testing of novel materials for selective adsorption of poly- and perfluoroalkyl substances from water. My research interests lie in the identification, fate and transport, and treatment of trace and emerging contaminants in water. I am particularly interested in the intersection of this field of study with advances in wastewater treatment and water reuse.
