I completed my undergraduate degree at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Spring North Carolina, where I majored in chemistry and minored in math. After participating in a research experience for undergraduates (REU) program at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory in Tallahassee Florida, I became interested in pursuing a PhD in chemistry. I am currently a 5th year graduate student in inorganic chemistry at the University of Virginia working in the Gilliard lab with an anticipated graduation date of December 2021.
