Dr Irfan Alibay
Postdoctoral Research Associate, The University of Oxford
Dr Alibay completed his PhD at the University of Manchester, UK, with Dr Richard Bryce. Since 2017, he now works as a postdoctoral research associate with Professor Philip C. Biggin at the University of Oxford. His research primarily uses molecular dynamics simulations to explore biomolecules, with a focus on protein-ligand interactions and carbohydrates.
Dr Alibay has been a contributor to the MDAnalysis library since 2018. He now acts as one of its core developers, helping both maintain the library and steer its development.
