Henning A. Hoppe

Henning Höppe (engl. Hoeppe) conducted his Ph. D. under supervision of Wolfgang Schnick at LMU Munich in 2003 on LED phosphors, worked then as a Post-doc at the ICL (University of Oxford) with Malcolm Green on carbon nanotubes and returned to Germany in 2004 as Post-doc at Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg starting his work on silicate-analogous materials. In 2010 he was appointed as a professor at Augsburg University; the activities of his group address the solid state chemistry of phosphates, borophosphates, fluorooxoborates and borosulfates with a focus on optical properties.
