Heather Price earned her PhD in Analytical Chemistry from University of Washington (UW) focusing on the long-range transport and photochemistry of air pollution. Her postdoctoral atmospheric chemistry research was conducted with the Program on Climate Change at UW, incorporating the isotopes of hydrogen into a global chemical transport model of the atmosphere. Heather has developed a number of courses on climate change for undergraduate students, a UW summer program for high school students, and climate curriculum development workshops for college faculty. Her current National Science Foundation research project, Climate Justice in Undergraduate STEM Incorporating Civic Engagement (C-JUSTICE), focuses on improving undergraduate STEM education through the integration of climate justice, equity, and civic engagement across the humanities, arts, and STEM curriculum. In addition to a PhD in chemistry, Heather earned her BA in East Asian Studies from Western Washington University.
