My name is Hanna Morales Hernandez and I am a rising 6th year Ph.D. candidate at Stony Brook University. I work in Dr. Christopher Johnson's laboratory conducting gas-phase, cryogenic UV-Vis and IR spectroscopy on our compounds of interest, namely gold nanoclusters. Our aim to study the electronic structure of these nanoclusters and determine how chemical changes affect the electronic structure and thus electronic characteristics of these nanoclusters.
