Dr. Guo P. Chen

Guo Chen received his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Chemistry from Tsinghua University (China) in 2013. He got his PhD in Chemistry from University of California, Irvine in 2019, where he worked with Prof. Filipp Furche on random-phase approximation methods, new formalism and algorithms of time-dependent electronic structure theory, and computational organometallic chemistry. He is now a postdoctoral research associate at Rice University, working with Prof. Gustavo Scuseria on electronic structure methods for strongly correlated systems.
