Dr George Lengyel
Associate Professor, Slippery Rock University
George Lengyel received his Masters in Teaching from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005 and his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh in 2014. He is currently an Associate Professor in the department of chemistry and serves as the Rock Studies Program Director at Slippery Rock University. His research interests outside of the classroom include studying the structural impacts of incorporation of unnatural amino acids in short peptide sequences. Inside the classroom, his interests include implementation of competency-based grading techniques and delivery of content using evolving technology-based educational tools such as Microsoft Teams.
