Dr. Felicia EJIAH is a Lecturer of inorganic chemistry at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She studied B.Sc. chemistry at the University of Jos, Plateau State before moving to University of Lagos to pursue a Masters and Ph.D in inorganic chemistry. She was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship for a postdoctoral study at Ohio State University, Columbus, USA. Her research focuses on the discovery of organic, inorganic molecules and metallodrug interactions for biochemical and therapeutic applications. Presently, the discovery of metal based compounds for anti-cancer therapy is paramount to her research work. She has published in international journals of high repute, widely travelled to present research papers at conferences and has established productive collaborations with other international leading groups in the USA, UK and Europe.
She is a member of various International and professional bodies; American Chemical Society, Royal Society of Chemistry, Society of Bioinorganic Chemistry, Chemical Society of Nigeria, Society for Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry and Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria. She has received various awards amongst; Distinguished Researcher Award for 5th Annual Research Conference and Fair, University of Lagos, Royal Society of Chemistry and Society of Bioinorganic Chemistry travel grants to present papers at conferences in the UK and it environ.
