Felice C Lightstone

I am Group Leader of Biochemical and Biophysical Systems Group and Program Leader of Medical Countermeasures at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. My research uses cutting-edge, multi-scale, in silico simulations to tackle problems in biology. A wide range of computational biology methods that employ LLNL's high-performance computing resources are used to simulate systems from sub-atomic scale to population level.  I am the Director of the American Heart Association's Center for Accelerated Drug Discovery and am a Board Member of the Western States Affiliate of the American Heart Association. I have authored ninety publications and three patents. I am a recipient of the LLNL Best Mentor Award and am an Emmy award winner for Best Instructional Programming.
