Fakhrul Hasan Bhuiyan is a final year PhD student in the mechanical engineering department at the University of California - Merced. He is a graduate student researcher in the Martini Research Group. As a computational researcher, his research focuses on uncovering the molecular mechanisms of shear-driven reactions using reactive molecular dynamics simulations and data analysis techniques. Fakhrul was a recipient of the STLE Northern California Section research scholarship in 2022 and the Graduate Dean's Dissertation Fellowship in 2024.
