Edward (Ted) Peltier is an Professor and Associate Chair in the Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering Department at the University of Kansas, where he has taught since 2006. He holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Northwestern University. His research areas include the fate and transport of pollutants in the environment, novel strategies for treatment and management of produced water and other high-salinity wastewaters, and the use of wetlands for stormwater control and nutrient removal.
