Division/Committee: [CATL] Division of Catalysis Science & Technology

This symposium is inspired by the broad research contributions from Prof. James (Jerry) Spivey over the course of his 40-year research career in the field of heterogeneous catalysis for C1 chemistry. We invite contributions from academia, industry, and national laboratories that have worked in the same field as and/or collaborated with Prof. Spivey in the areas of syngas conversion, methane conversion, fuel reforming for syngas production, CO oxidation/adsorption, etc. We welcome contributions from both fundamental and applied catalysis research of vital relevance to the environmental sustainability and efficient chemical conversion for energy production.
