Dr. Donna Barron

Donna M. Barron is an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York. Dr. Barron received her B.S. in chemistry from University of Massachusetts at Lowell and her Ph.D. in bioanalytical chemistry from Binghamton University. She worked as an industrial post-doctoral student at Albany Molecular Research, Inc. and as a supervising process scientist at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals. She joined the faculty of HVCC in 2005 and has taught general, biochemistry and analytical chemistry. In addition, she works with biotechnology certificate programs students in their preparation for industrial internships and positions and is active in promoting the relationship between local industry and HVCC.
