Donald Hirsh

Donald Hirsh is a professor of chemistry at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) with a background in magnetic resonance. He pursued photosynthesis research as an undergraduate at Stanford University with Steve Boxer and as a graduate student at Yale University with Prof. Gary Brudvig. Dr. Hirsh completed a post-doc at Washington University in St. Louis where he studied lipid membranes and membrane proteins with Jake Schaefer. Before coming to TCNJ, he was a scientist at the Liposome Company where he developed lipid-based delivery systems for pharmaceuticals
