Dr. Dimitris I Collias

Research Fellow, Proctor Gamble

Dimitris Collias is Research Fellow in the Corporate R&D Department of the Procter & Gamble company, and his current focus is on the development of renewable and recycled materials. Dr. Collias has been 28 years with P&G, has technology and management experience, has worked extensively with outside industrial partners and universities, and many of his technical developments have been commercialized in various P&G products. He has co-authored the book Polymer Processing - Principles and Design, has published more than 35 articles in journals and conference proceedings, and has been co-inventor in more than 100 granted US patents. Dr. Collias received the 2020 ACS award on Affordable Green Chemistry. He earned his Diploma from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece, and PhD from Princeton University, both in Chemical Engineering.
