Dr. Derek Dwyer

Dr. Dwyer is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Dr. Dwyer holds a B.Sc. in Molecular Biology and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Binghamton University, Binghamton, NY. His research experiences include study of thermal degradation pathways of epoxy thermosets, thermal degradation kinetics of polymer materials, investigations into epoxy resin fluorescence, and design and fabrication of chemical protective polymer composite materials.
