Danielle is a graduate research assistant pursuing her PhD in Food Science and Technology at The Ohio State University. A member of the Giusti Phytochemicals laboratory led by Dr. M. Monica Giusti, Danielle is interested in researching how the chemical structure of anthocyanins and anthocyanin derived pigments (pyranoanthocyanins) impacts the functionality for their use as naturally derived food colorants. Danielle received her Master's of Science degree in Food Science and Technology from The Ohio State University also as a member of the Giusti Phytochemicals lab and her Bachelor of Science in Food Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
