Danhui Xin

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Delaware. My Ph.D. work is centered on characterizing redox properties of biochar and pushing the findings in biochar chemistry into novel environmental engineering applications. My research involves applying a suite of experimental skills ranging from wet chemistry, chromatography, spectroscopy, to microscopy towards understanding the behavior of biochar in mediating redox chemistry in biogeochemical environments.
