Dr Christopher Sandford

Chris obtained his MChem from the University of Oxford in 2013, followed by his PhD from the University of Bristol, working with Professor Varinder Aggarwal on the functionalization of nucleophilic boronate complexes. In 2017, he moved to the University of Utah as a postdoctoral scholar in the group of Professor Matt Sigman, studying organometallic reactions with electrochemistry and data science. During that time, he was awarded a Marie Curie Fellowship, which included a year at ICIQ in Spain under the direction of Professor Ruben Martin. In 2021, he became an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Dartmouth College.
