Christopher Forman
Chris is a scientist, author, and engineer whose career spans theoretical physics, satellite communications, and protein engineering. Holding a PhD from the University of Cambridge, his peer-reviewed contributions have advanced understanding of protein fiber architectures—amyloid, collagen, and spider silk—with implications for biomaterials and design. His book Brave Green World explores the intersection of biology and sustainability, reimagining circular economics through bioinspired systems. Currently, he is working in chromatography detector automation and algorithm development, while his own independent research probes chemical information processing and the role of non-equilibrium physics in materials innovation.
He will be presenting on approaches to chromatography automation on Weds 20th, 2pm.
