Dr. Chika C. Unegbu is a postdoctoral fellow at Morgan State University, Baltimore, MD. Prior to her fellowship, she was a lecturer at Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Nigeria where she also worked as Head of Departments of Microbiology/Biochemistry and Chemistry at different periods. At the time she left the school, she was the director of Research and Innovation for Development of the institution. Her research interest is in Biomedical studies. She is currently carrying out research on the Synergistic Cytotoxicity Potentials of Plant Bioactive Compounds and Conventional Anticancer Agents. She is combining her biomedical studies with computational drug discovery and design.
