Dr. Carolyn Ann Koh

Professor, Colorado School of Mines

C. Koh is Professor of Chemical & Biological Engineering & Director of the Center at the Colorado School of Mines (CSM). She obtained her BSc and Ph.D. degrees from the University of W. London and postdoctoral training at Cornell University. She was Reader at King's College, London University before joining CSM. She has been visiting Professor at Cornell, Penn State, London University. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. She has received several awards, including the Young Scientist Award of the British Association of Crystal Growth, ConocoPhillips Faculty Award (2010-2012), Distinguished Lecturer Award (2021), etc. Also, international awards including IChemE Guggenheim Medal 2021; Yeram S. Touloukian Award 2021; Gas Processors Association Donald L. Katz Award 2021; SPE International PFC Award 2023. She has over 230 publications (Google Scholar h-index 79, citations: 33,313).
