Bin Zhang

Bin Zhang is a 5th-year Ph. D. candidate in the Wachs group at Lehigh University. He received his B.E. in Safety Engineering at Nanjing University of Science & Technology and his M. S. in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. His primary research interests during his Ph. D. study are in heterogeneous catalysis, specifically olefin metathesis over the supported metal oxide catalysts. His research projects mainly focused on characterizing the catalysts by in situ/operando molecular spectroscopies.
