Prof. Beatriz Jurado

Beatriz Jurado Sánchez is a Associate Professor in the Department of Analytical Chemistry, at the University of Alcalá (Madrid Spain) since 2017. She received her PhD in chemistry from the University of Cordoba in 2009. In 2013 she was awarded the prestigious Marie Curie IOF fellowship to carry out research at the University of California, San Diego; where she was introduced to the exciting topic of micromachines. She has co-authored over 70 scientific papers (H Index = 31), several book chapters and has or is currently supervising 8 PhD students, 6 Master students and many undergraduate students. Her research has been highlighted as cover in the top impact journals Andewandte Chemie International Edition, Chemical Science and Analytical Chemistry. She has been recently recognized as "Outstanding reviewer" on RSC Advances.
