Dr. Audra Goach received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from The Pennsylvania State University in 2004 before which she earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA.  Audra spent two years doing postdoctoral research in biophysical chemistry at the University of Pennsylvania in the Institute for Medicine and Engineering.  Since 2006, Dr. Goach has been a member of the faculty at Monmouth College in Monmouth, IL where she currently holds the position of Professor and Chair of the Chemistry Department.  Audra teaches analytical chemistry (quantitative analysis and instrumental), capstone lab, and forensic science.  She also has an active undergraduate research group which investigates the use of model membrane systems for the investigation of drug delivery and drug effectiveness through Langmuir monolayers and Brewster Angle Microscopy. She has published research papers with undergraduates and with her collaborator at Colorado State University while at Monmouth.
