Attila Csomos

I am a Hungarian chemist from Budapest. I have finished my undergraduate studies in Chemistry with specialization in Organic and Analytical chemistry. In the last 5 years I have been doing research in my main field of interest, fluorescent probes for use in biology, especially two-photon microscopy. On the day to day I am using organic chemistry and doing synthesis to prepare novel fluorophores or probes for new application. Furthermore, I am using spectrophotometry, fluorimetry, NMR and MS to characterize my compounds in detail. I also have a basic knowledge in microscopy. Currently I am working on my PhD project, which covers the aformentioned. I also love to share results in presentations and talk with colleagues. In my personal life I am interested in photography, graphic design, culture and sports such as football or skiing.
