Dr. Asma A. Alothman

Prof. Asma A. Alothman is a Professor of Inorganic Chemistry and Materials Science in the Department of Chemistry at the College of Science, King Saud University. She earned her Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University, USA, in 2016. Currently, she serves as the Assistant Dean of the College of Science for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research. Her academic journey began in 2010 as a Teaching Assistant, followed by her appointment as a Lecturer in 2013, Assistant Professor in 2017, Associate Professor in 2021, and full Professor in 2025. Prof. Alothman brings extensive experience in academic supervision, scientific research, and administrative leadership. She has actively contributed to international conferences through research papers and poster presentations and has been recognized with several scientific awards for her outstanding contributions to the field.
