Mrs. Ann George

Ann George serves as the Executive Director of Hop Growers of America, Washington Hop Commission and Hop Growers of Washington.  For the past 34 years she has guided the industry's programs with specific responsibility for science and technical issues. She is also responsible for the industry's statistical and educational programs, as well as representing the US hop industry at the International Hop Growers Convention.  She co-chairs the IHGC Regulatory Harmonization Commission, one of this international organization's three standing committees.

Ann has served as a member of the IR-4 Commodity Liaison Committee and the Washington State Commission on Pesticide Registration since their inception.  She has represented the US hop industry on a number of committees, work groups, organizations, and other programs, presented dozens of talks and authored numerous articles on behalf of the hop industry.
