Amina Aly
Investigating alternative metals for Zinc for the first step of Nylon 6-6 synthesis using green as well as conventional techniques
Amina Aly is a senior Honors Program student majoring in cell and molecular biology, and is conducting research in organic chemistry, specifically green methods and synthesis. She has been doing research with Dr. Agee since the summer of 2020. After graduating from Augusta University, she plans to pursue a career in medicine, specifically pediatric surgery. Her extracurricular activities include being vice president of Augusta University's chapter of Friends of MSF (aka Doctors Without Borders), Financial Officer of Augusta University's chapter of the Brain Exercise Initiative, and volunteers at Heartland Hospice in her spare time.
