Aman Ullah

Dr. Ullah obtained Ph.D. (with distinction) in Chemical Sciences and Technologies from the University of Genoa, Italy by working together at Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX, USA. Dr. Ullah's research is focused on the development of bioproducts/biomaterials from renewable resources for different applications. Dr. Ullah has > 85 publications and 5 patents/applications. He has licensed 2 technologies to a new startup biorefinery in Alberta. He delivered >40 invited talks in US/Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia including several plenary and keynote lectures. Dr. Ullah received 17 awards including Canadian Rising Star award by "Grand Challenges Canada", faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences "Research and Innovation Award", and ASTech Award Finalist for the "30th ASTech Innovation Awards".
