Dr. Dmitry Eremin

USC

Dmitry B. Eremin received his summa cum laude in chemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russia in 2014 and his Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry and Catalysis from Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry, Russia under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Valentine P. Ananikov in 2018. His projects were centered on mechanistic insights into catalytic reactions. In 2019, he was awarded an Agilent Postdoctoral Fellowship and joined the laboratory of Prof. Valery V. Fokin at the University of Southern California, the U.S., where he works on organic transformations at water interface and the development of improved mass spectrometry approaches for the analysis of protein-ligand complexes. His research interests are focused on in situ spectroscopic and mass spectrometry techniques to understand the origin of weak interactions from a gas phase to an interface of condensed matter.
